Switch from an influencer platform for product seeding
If the part of your influencer platform you use most is shipping product and collecting what comes back, this guide shows how to run that in Portifer and what you would still need elsewhere.
1. Export from your current setup
- Export your creator list with names, emails, handles and addresses as CSV.
- Put handles and notes in columns you can map to recipient notes or tags.
- Decide which campaigns are seeding-only; affiliate and payout programmes stay in your current tool.
2. Set up Portifer
- Export your recipient or contact list from the current tool as CSV or Excel.
- Import it in Portifer under Dashboard → Data. Portifer suggests a column mapping; check it and confirm.
- Add your products to the catalogue and rebuild the box in the box builder, with variants and inserts.
- Connect your carrier accounts under Settings → Carriers, or agree managed fulfilment with us.
- Recreate your survey questions and feedback tasks in the campaign, then send a small test cohort before the full send.

4. Before your full send
- Keep affiliate links, payouts and post tracking in your current tool.
- Import creators with handles in a notes or tags column so you can filter them later.
- Add photo and video upload tasks to the campaign so content comes back into Portifer.
- Send a small test cohort and open the recipient page on a phone before the full send.
5. Keep in mind
- Portifer has no creator discovery, social post tracking, affiliate links or payouts.
- There is no Shopify integration; export orders or customers as CSV if you need them.

Frequently asked questions
Will Portifer track creators' social posts?
No. Portifer collects what recipients upload on their branded page. Social post tracking stays with a social or influencer tool.
