Claims and evidence
kept separate.
This page lists the numbers Portifer states about its product and where the evidence for each one lives. Every figure is a product setting, a product limit, a price, a vendor's own page or a study we ran. We do not yet publish outcome figures such as response rates or switching times, and this page says how we will measure them first.

What we do not claim yet
Portifer is a young product. We have not yet run enough campaigns to publish outcome figures that would mean anything, so we leave them out rather than estimate them.
- How long a typical switch to Portifer takes. Switching guides show what each stage depends on and the product defaults instead.
- Response rates, scan rates, review volumes or meeting rates. Campaign examples on our pages describe the workflow and contain no outcome numbers.
- Time saved, cost saved or return on investment for customers.
- Customer logos, testimonials or case studies.
How we will measure outcomes
These are the outcome figures we will publish, and how each one is defined. Nothing in this table has been published yet.
- Only aggregate figures from production data, never data about a named customer or recipient.
- Only once at least 30 completed campaigns from at least 5 clients are in the sample; test and demo accounts are excluded.
- Each figure is published with its definition, sample size, date range and the query method, next to the claim that uses it.
- Figures are refreshed at least every six months and dated.
| Figure | Definition | Reported as |
|---|---|---|
| Time to first send | Days from a client's first recipient import to the first shipping label printed in the same campaign | Median and interquartile range |
| Address confirmation rate | Packages whose address was confirmed by the recipient before the deadline, divided by packages that asked for confirmation | Share, per campaign type |
| Response rate | Delivered packages with at least one survey answer or upload, divided by delivered packages | Median across campaigns |
| Time to first response | Hours from carrier-reported delivery to the recipient's first answer or upload | Median and interquartile range |
Frequently asked questions
Why does Portifer not publish response rates?
Because we have not run enough campaigns to report a figure that would hold up. When the sample reaches at least 30 completed campaigns from at least 5 clients, we will publish the median with its definition, sample size and date range on this page.
Where do the numbers on Portifer's pages come from?
From the product's own settings and limits, our written pricing, vendors' own public pages, and our pricing transparency study. Each one is listed on this page with a link to the page that documents it.
