Webhooks
Portifer webhooks send a signed JSON POST to your URL when campaign, enrolment and feedback events happen, so you can connect Portifer to your own systems or to automation tools that accept incoming webhooks.
Where to set it up
Dashboard → Settings → Integrations. Add an endpoint URL, choose events and optionally limit it to one campaign. The signing secret is shown once.
Events
| Event | Sent when |
|---|---|
| campaign.started | A campaign is started. |
| campaign.completed | A campaign is completed. |
| tester.enrolled | A tester or recipient is enrolled in a campaign. |
| submission.created | A recipient submits feedback. |
| submission.approved | A submission is approved. |
Zapier, Make and similar tools
There is no Portifer app in the Zapier or Make directories. Point a Portifer webhook at a "catch hook" trigger in those tools to start your own automations.
Frequently asked questions
How do I verify a webhook came from Portifer?
Compute an HMAC-SHA256 of the raw request body with your subscription secret and compare the hex digest with the X-Webhook-Signature header. Full details are in the help docs.
